  1. This is new year with new team determine two changes that you faced in dealing with your recent team differ from your first team in G10 semester 1
  2. Imagine that you have been working with your classmates in your previous school on a prototype project, and your team has already made good progress. However, after a few weeks, you are transferred to a new school, where you will join another group that has already started working on a different project. How would you handle the following situations?
  3. When you join a new group that has already started working together, how would you gain their trust and integrate quickly into the team?
  4. If you believe that the idea of your previous project was better than the one your new group is developing, what would you do?*
  5. During the Capstone execution, if you are a leader and notice that one of the team members is not performing their role within the group as intended, explain two strengths points of your team to help overcome this situation.
  6. STEM School students have unique experiences they gained through studying in STEM Schools, that make them different from their peers those who study in other educational systems, explain two experiences you acquired, and how you will apply these experiences in your future academic life.
  7. Based on your experience designing a scientific poster for your project, describe at least two main strategies your team employed to create an effective and visually clear poster. In your response, explain how you organized the information, selected visual elements, and ensured that your poster conveyed your ideas to the audience.

  18. It’s very challenging that this semester you will work on a new capstone project, so your experience and skills need to be improved. What are the two most challenging personal aspects or skills you need to improve, and how can you improve them? *
  19. "Effectiveness and efficiency are two different goals for your team that can be achieved through individual contributions and teamwork. Give one detailed example of how you will contribute to the effectiveness and another to contribute to the efficiency of your team?" *
  20. Clear roles and responsibilities, mutual respect for different areas of expertise, good leadership skills, .... etc. are important to have an effective team. If any of these is missing, it’s going to be hard for a team to succeed. Pick one effective teamwork aspect and show how it positively affects capstone work. *
  21. To have a successful team, many factors should be taken into consideration such s: (1) Definite roles and responsibilities. (2) Mutual respect for different areas of expertise. (3) Good leadership skills. Pick one of these factors to have a successful team and show how it positively affects your team. *
  22. In younger teams, two team members who are arguing about a point might turn to a team leader to make the decision. But more mature teams can find better ways to use this argument between them to benefit their project. If there is an argument about two contrasting points of view between you and your teammate, suggest two strategies to use this argument to encourage progress in your project positively. *

EDP

  1. This is your third capstone challenge; therefore, you should have gained valuable experience in problem-solving by now. To facilitate a clear path to the solution, outline three critical points that need to be followed to reach the solution easily.*
  2. Introduction:
    In the Engineering Design Process, each team may focus on different design requirements based on their goals and priorities.
    For example, one team might emphasize cybersecurity more than user-friendliness, while another might prioritize environmental sustainability over performance speed.
    This variety shows that engineering solutions can differ depending on what each team values most.
    Question:
    Identify two design requirements that your solution must meet.
    Explain why you chose each requirement, giving two reasons to justify the importance of each one.
  3. You are currently in the construction stage. Describe two key design requirements that were most important for your project, and explain how those choices influenced the design and construction of your prototype.
  4. During the prototype testing phase, it was discovered that one of the design requirements was not met. Describe in detail two strategies to overcome this issue.
  5. During the capstone project, your team faced a challenge where the model exhibited instability during continuous operation; after some time, its performance began to deteriorate, leading to frequent failures. By utilizing the EDP (Engineering Design Process) steps, explain how your team could identify two potential reasons for this instability and develop an enhanced version of the model that operates efficiently over extended periods.

  16. During the first step of the EDP, defining the problem to be solved, we want to focus on the Grand Challenge. Water is one of the most valuable resources on earth. Therefore, we are focusing on Egypt's Grand Challenge of managing and sustaining sources of clean water. Determine two other Grand Challenges affected by the availability of clean water and explain how increasing the sources of water could contribute to tackling them. *
  17. Prior solutions you find in your research can help you think about new solutions. Explain one prior solution you found in your research for managing and increasing the sources of clean water. Include one strength and one weakness of this prior solution and show how this prior solution might help you think about a new solution. *

After leaving this sample for two days and then you repeated the analysis again for the same sample, do you expect obtaining same result or not, explain the reason depends on GMO you learned in (BI.2.01) *
